    Dogpound Server :: Interface:

    The default view for the Dogpound Server interface includes 3 panes: Render Clients, Watchdog Clients, and Server Output.

    RenderDog Clients:

    The upper right view lists all logged RenderDog clients, the number of active slots, the type of machine, it's current status, and total connection time. Right clicking in this view brings up the Rdog menu for toggling client status online/offline, and access to login with VNC. RenderDog clients can be viewed on a machine or per slot (available processor) basis by toggling the "View By Machine/View By Slot" sub-menu item.

    Watchdog Clients:

    The upper right view lists all logged Watchdog clients, the user logged in at the Watchdog workstation, and the total connection time.

    Server Output:

    The bottom view displays all relevant Dogpound server output. The amount of information sent to the output view is determined by the "Reporting" main menu item. The setting options are "Basic" and "Detailed". The default "Basic" setting should be used in an everyday working environment as it allows the server to work at it's top speed. The "Detailed" setting should only be used to closely examine the current activity of the server in troubleshooting situations.

    WARNING: Using the "Detailed" setting will significantly slow down the Dogpound server's processing and response time.

    Hiding Views:

    The RenderDog and Watchdog views can be hidden together or independently by selecting the "Hide View" sub-menu item from either the "RDog" or "Watchdog" main menu items.

    Grid Display:

    The RenderDog and Watchdog list view's background grid can be hidden independently by toggling the "View Grid" sub-menu item under the corresponding "RDog" or "Watchdog" main menu items.
