    RenderDog Client :: RDC

    The RenderDog Process Controller or RDC (rdc.exe) is used to automatically launch and remove the rdog.exe processes. To have the render node come online each time the machine restarts, create an auto-login script to login with a user that has the appropriate network privileges and necessary environment variables. Now include a shortcut to rdc.exe in the startup group. The RDC will startup and by default launch the appropriate number of rdog.exe executables as a hidden process. The RDC by default will minimize to the system tray. Left clicking will restore the window and right clicking will bring up the RDC menu.

    RDC Interface:

    View RenderDog Console

    Users can show or hide the actual RenderDog A or B process by toggling the View.../RenderDog_A or /RenderDog_B menu item.

    Relaunches

    RDC will detect shutdown RenderDog applications and automatically relaunch to maintain the appropriate number of nodes.
