RenderDog
not recognizing a crashed Maya process: (04.27.04)
Currently
when a Maya process crashes, and a Windows dialog box appears to "Send
a Report" RenderDog may not properly recognize the crashed state
of Maya and believe the job is complete, even though the Maya process
has not freed it's current memory.
Submission
Window not showing pools: (Fixed in release 1.0.16.50)
When
large farms of 100 or more processors are connected the Submission
window will intermittently drop the list of servers for pool selection.
HASP:
Dogpound
will sometimes erroneously report at startup that there are "14
days left on this key". Restart the server and this notification
message should go away.
Pool
Manager:
Selecting
multiple nodes in a pool and selecting remove will currently only
remove the last item selected.
Server
defined "unassigned" pool is not currently updating to reflect
nodes that have been added to pools.
GUI:
(Fixed in release 1.0.16.50)
When
"View By Machine" is selected for the Render Node view sometimes
the number of slots reported is incorrect. For example, on two dual
processor nodes Node_01 may report 3/3 and Node_02 may report 1/1.
This is a display error only and will not affect the operation of
the Watchdog system. Switching to "View By Slot" will correctly
show the number of RenderDog clients currently logged.
Network
Connection:
If the
network cable is removed from the Dogpound server computer, the currently
logged in clients will not properly recognize the loss of the connection
to the server. In the future a"check
connection" message will be added to the RenderDog nodes which
will look for the server at a user defined interval.
